Flybe launches express hand baggage check in providing boost for
business travellers
Flybe, Europe’s third largest low fares airline today announces
the launch of an express hand baggage check-in facility at Birmingham,
Southampton, Jersey, Guernsey and Belfast City. The new check-in
facility is designed for those with hand baggage only, allowing
business and shortbreak travellers the chance to significantly
cut down on check-in and total travel time.
Flybe, carry a higher proportion of business travellers than any
other low fare airline and the launch of the new check-in facility
consolidates its proposition of being the only low fare airline
to offer a business service.
In addition to providing a comprehensive domestic route network
stretching across the backbone of Britain that allows convenient
door-to-door travel for both business and leisure travellers, flybe
has also aimed to facilitate convenient booking methods. This month
also sees the launch of flybe’s business-to-business website
at www.flybe2b.com.
The new site provides companies with access to the most competitive
flybe fares and enables them to fully manage their travel activity
online, giving them tailor made travel and expense management information
and travel support at the click of a button.
